When speaking with Harold Allen, President of Alliance of Police Supervisors he said, "We endorsed Ike primarily because we believe he has a balanced and realistic approach to collective bargaining and that his concern for public safety and providing the resources necessary to ensure that Montgomery County Police Department remains one of the best in the nation.
